For example: Lets say someone truly find themselves in that which they conform should they be judged for conforming non the less. And as such should the person be condemed by the rest of said society.

I can't tell you what "should" happen in an oppressive society, because I do not believe there should be an oppressive society. But in general, I don't think people should be judged harshly for what is a matter of style, only for matters of moral wrongdoing.

I know that there is a conformity to non-conformity, and that hippies had their own standards of what fit in and what didn't. This went way back to the time of the non-conformists who were called "bohemians" (not to be confused with people from Bohemia), who had a style which was counter to the main social style, but which enforced its own style almost as strictly. Fashion and fad are tough taskmasters.

You need to be who you really are, whether or not it conforms to the common or the uncommon, or partly to one and partly the other. You don't need to have a definable category of style. Your identity is your own, not your membership in some clique.
