When I was in the 4th grade I got in a fight with one of the boys. The next day his mom made him bring me flowers as an apology gift. I have no idea what we were fighting about but I do know that we were friends after that. Years later I introduced him to one of my friends. They got married a few years ago and I was the maid of honor. I think apology gifts are actually a good idea. It shows you are sorry. Even if it is a card or a little note. It makes a big difference!

Yeah and I didn't care for it. I don't like my affections being bought. If I got a gift AFTER an apology that'd be one thing but a gift AS an apology is shallow.

They gave me the apology gift, but not the apology. I tried to talk to her about the problem, but she didn't want to. We're not friends anymore.

Hmmm, craven apology if it rather is made with exposure in strategies. think of if i've got been Adele i might settle for a minimum of one bag and use it as Maggie might have accomplished to coach him a salutory lesson.

Yes but a gift can never make up for making true life changes. Though my ex never do figure that one out.

No, but one time I bought my sister a dress to apologize for something stupid I did (or said) and it became known as "the sorry dress."

yes.. i'm not being self-centered.. but i am a veri forgiving person... i will forgive them when they give me an apology gift... i understand that they're trying to apologize but shy... its not that i'm being materialistic or whatever... but by only giving us apology gift, we know their real intention is they wanna apologize... but, i prefer them saying "sorry"..

Yeah, from someone who made a major faux pas and was trying to back-pedal big time.
