I forgot what channel it came on (i think it was KCOP) it came on weekday morning right after the national anthem.. it took place in the future or space and it had charactrs that looked woer armor that looked similar to the marines in Starship Troopers they had guns as well lol. Im thinking it was probably Spiral Zone but that doesnt seem to ring any bells (just watched the opening) anyone have any idea what show it was?

Actually you are right!

The show was called Spiral Zone. I never watched the show, but my cousins did. It sounds like a good show, I wish I had gotten a chance to watch, but I was not even born yet. To confirm it was called Spiral Zone visit this website:

Here is a part of info from the website:

Spiral Zone is a futuristic cartoon syndicated in 1987 involving the world's five most elite soldiers fighting a renegade scientist who has invented a mind-control bacteria and taken over half of the world with bacteria-infested spiral zones. There was also a toyline from Tonka and the comic books were published by DC.

Yeah spiral zone sounds closest so far but i remember them all wearing teh same uniform and were like an army and had guns pretty much liek starship troopers.. Also it wasnt vr troopers that has live action came on in the 90s and was on in afternoons, Roughnecks was CG animated and also came on in early 2000s.. heh would be easy if theer was som site that showed weedkday morning listing on KCOP in the 80s between 5-7am lol
