I won't know until I die and then what will it matter to me. Your means is over time and time goes on until you have no more time. And when you die the one with the most toys leaves a mess for others to have to put back in the toy chest for others to play with another day. and another day. and another day....

No not really, I'm a student and somehow still have enough money to buy rubbish that I don't need but really really want..
I used to have a high paying job, I'm talking minimum of about $1000 a day. When I stopped this job I really struggled, I spent like the money was still coming in the way I was used to it coming in...
It has taken a few years and many hard lessons to get to the point I'm at now, that's making sure I still eat have a roof over my head and clothes on my back and food for my dogs.
But I still don't really live within my means... though I got rid of the credit card and that has helped in a huge way. Now i only waste the money I have in my pocket.

Absolutely, we have to. Hubby works for himself so we do not use credit cards unless they are paid off at the end of the month..credit card companies do not make money on us, lol. My motto is "if we can't pay in cash, we can't afford it" We are very fortunate because we make a good living and are quite comfortable. It's due in great part to our living within our means.

i'm like the government, on each and every occasion I spend greater advantageous than I earn, I call for my business company provide me a develop to conceal my spending through fact i won't be able to in all danger decrease back on the upward thrust of my spending - the youngsters might go through! heavily, that's a great question - what resides rather-priced? My Grandad lived in the direction of the excellent melancholy and he pronounced by no skill to owe something to all and sundry through fact he observed maximum of human beings lose each and every thing that they had. His theory of residing rather-priced became by no skill use credit for something. He built his own residence on land he saved to purchase. His father regardless of the undeniable fact that, became rich before the melancholy, misplaced each and every thing and made all of it back and then some afterwards. He began banks, low value rates and loans, traded commodities and did all of it with credit. all of it went to the 2nd spouse's family members although :-( i think of regardless of the undeniable fact that, that a in charge point of debt resides rather-priced, yet while it consumes greater advantageous than a 0.33 of your income you have long gone too a approaches. while the government has a viable debt, that's good for each individual through fact it subject concerns bonds that are generally sound investments. regardless of the undeniable fact that, there comes a tipping factor at which that's unsustainable through fact the interest finally consumes the tax receipts without paying theory and at that factor has to the two default or monetize the debt by making use of paying it back with devalued forex (printing funds). that's what banana republics oftentimes do and what Greece might probable do if it had it rather is own forex.

We live below our means and have plenty of money left over every payday to either save or play with.

I try to, but honestly it's hard not to get caught up . . .
We live comfortably. But without going into details, I believe certain things are expected of me, and because of that sometimes I overspend.

Yes. The only debt I have is a mortgage. If I can't afford it, I don't use credit.
