My sister will put her dog on the phone and tell me to talk to him, and I really feel stupid, but do it to oblige. It may be cute to the person putting their animal on the phone but to the person on the other end... its just ridiculous.

Hehe, yes. Boston terrier here, they do that little tilt their head to the side thing and look at you like you're nuts! Those dogs are a good judge of character!!!!! lol!!

my grandparents used to have a dog that would answer the phone, he would take the receiver off the hook and bark into it, then go get one of them to come to the phone.

Oh i do that with my dads dog Sam. he is the cutest border Colly. he cocks his head side to side and looks at me like i am crazy.

she never cares bout it
but ya when i was away frm home 4 amonth at that timewhen my dad put phone on speaker,
they told me she was little confused
