I hope I never do that when I am older! My elderly aunt did this and had to call the paramedics to help her. I felt so bad for her.

Usually these days I get down and can barely get back up. LOL. It's not really funny but I laugh anyway.
I hope I never get in the position your aunt was in. That would be terrible. Hope she was ok.

Yes!
I was stupid enough to slip in the bathtub (the mat wasn't suctioned down) and gave myself a whiplash. My 11 year old daughter and my best friend, who happened to live across the street, had to finish bathing me. I felt like such a moron. Even my chiropractor said "you know, most people get whiplashes from car accidents". I told him, I just wanted to be different! :-)

I've never fallen and said that, but when I'm too lazy to get up on my own at school I tell my friends that I've fallen and I can't get up so they help me out. We help each other out like that. Trust me, it'll be worse to be old and have someone feeding you or wiping your butt.

actually yes i have and im only 33, but....
being physically challenged due to a birth defect there are times i CANT get up without assistance

No, but my husband's grandpa falls a lot. I feel bad for him. He broke his hip not too long ago.
