Ive run through seasons many times before with 2 teams, even getting lucky once and taking a championship trophy awhile back. my question is should i go on ahead and join a private league that my friend is telling me to join, even though ive already registered in a public one? should i just do both, while focusing mainly on the best team that i was able to draft? obviously having two teams creates conflicts more often than not, but i get the feeling that im not the only person in yahoo sports that has more than one team. lemme know what you think.

JOIN YOUR FRIEND'S LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!

you will enjoy playing w/ people you know, more than you will playing in a public league. people go inactive in public leagues & it's less personal. if your buddy doesn't set his lineup week 4 you can give him hell.

more than 1 fanasty football team? it's a great idea & easy. if you are worried about owning a guy in 1 league going against him in another try your best to draft alike. i've had more teams than i want to admit in the past & i'd end up w/ alot of like players in each league.

i have 12 teams right now (4 keepers) & we just got back from the MLB All Star break. it's easy to pull of, they only play once a week not 5 or 6 like MLB, NHL, NBA

I like your team - I would trade Chicago or Jones for Addai - but I would be suprised if the other team made that trade. Your QB is fine - the only Qb's better are Manning, Brady, Palmer and Brees - so unless you can trade for one of them - I think you're fine. Bulger passed for 24 TD with 8 Ints and had the most 300+ yd games last year - even more than Peyton. I would watch the waiver wire the first couple of weeks to see if anyone available performs better than Lewis, Droughns, Coles, Furrey or Edwards. Good Luck

With football being a once a week thing, there's no reason not to, particularly since a couple of significant injuries can **** can the best team and you're left with nothing of interest. What's the worst that can happen, looking at the extra team takes an extra twenty minutes a week?

the first year i played i only had one team, and i was obsessed and was always checking on it or looking for the stats of my players. so now i have a lot of teams with different players that way if peytons playing i might have him on one team but he might be on the team of another person that i am playing in a different league. it makes me not care as much so i like it. but thats just me. i do always try to use the same kicker on every team though. strange i know.

To be honest with you, ive just drafted my third team saturday afternoon.. aaaaand drafting my fourth and final team tomorrow.. I am probably the biggest fantasy fanatic! This is probably my 3rd straight year of going all out with 4 teams. But I have to tell you, after creating/joining custom leagues with my friends i will NEVER join a public league again. Too many cheaters, too many whiners.. its unbelievable. Last year, low-end teams actually dropped all their good people(all besides players on Yahoo! can't cut list, thank God for that!) Anyways the whole expierence with defensive players, multiple starting quarterbacks, or just leagues with your friends can be very fun. I like the whole idea of out competing your friends and being the team who everyone comes to when they need to get decent quarterbacks/runningbacks after theirs gets hurt. I actually had the sleeper Frank Gore last year, along with Steven Jackson and Willie Parker, as you can tell i didnt need him. With my mediocre quarterback(Brett Favre i think) I needed more reliability, so my friend offered me Marc Bulger for Frank Gore. Obviously I did it. But anyways, to keep up with all my 4 teams all I do is check espn to see if anyones been signed, traded or released, view my leagues to see the latest.. maybe propose some trades, check out free agents, and check the message board and at the END set up my lineup.. after that, move on to the next team. Honestly, I actually find it helpful to have more than one team.. maybe you had a bad draft and no one wants to trade? what are you going to do? you can't always wait for a sleeper. But to me, I find myself drafting BETTER after each draft. Anyways, try the customs leagues.. you won't be disappointed.

hope this helps!

Nah, is actually easy with football ou only play games once a week, meaning you only have to check it twice a week.
