since these boys from long beach are one of my favorite bands ever, I was wondering what everyone thought of them.

Sublime is also one of my favorite bands. Santeria is one of my favorite songs although it is one of their more popular ones. I like 'caress me down' and 'i saw red', 'bad fish'...too many to name. All of their albums are great from their first one on.
It was unfortunate that Bradley died. He was a great musician and who knows what he would have been contributing to music today. Did you ever hear of The Long Beach Dub All Stars? They are Sublime minus Bradley. They rock too.

my favorite song of sublime is probably all of them.. but if i had to pick just one it'd be STP.
favorite album is probably the box set.. it covers everything.
favorite member is probably all of them most will say bradly.. but all of them together formed sublime.. bud with the badass kicks and beats, eric with the funky bass line and bradly with his louie dog.. just a colaborative awsomeness.
my other favorites concerning this band is the music that came after the fact from other california bands..
like:
slightly stoopid
bargain music
pepper
expendables
880 south
etc.. etc..
sublime.. it's the gift that keeps on giving.

Much like Nirvana, I truly believe that death elevated their greatness in a lot of people's minds. They were a decent band, but nothing special. You could take it even further and say that of the three albums, only one was truly special, that being the title album. To further illustrate my point of death, let's say that the lead singer of Goldfinger had died prematurely. I would all but guarantee that band would have been put on the same pedestal.

Obviously Sublime is my life. Same In The End is my favorite song of all time.

all i know is about the greatest hits cd i had was front to back one of my favorites, even though its gone now but that may be part of the mystic
