I liked his first film, and then he kinda lost me. His ego got as big as his waist and now he likes to show one side of every story, which is not good journalism. I respect his his right to state his opinions, but they should be presented that way. He's so into sensationalism he loses any chance of telling a intelligent story.

This is just my opinion.

jautomatic: The difference between me and Michael Moore is I stated my feelings as an opinion and not as fact. I'm on the left, but I consider myself a moderate. But he's so far left he turns more people off than he recruits. By the way the question is about how you feel about Michael Moore...

Don't even think about putting his name and journalism in the same sentence.

He is just telling a story about how he is trying to change the world.

im on the left, but he needs to stop with the sensationalism.

Like at the end of SiCKO, what he did revealing that he gave the guy who hates him $12k, was just him stroking his ego...he has no humility

I agree with you on the sensationalism.

I haven't seen Sicko yet... 9-11 lost steam half way through.. Bowling for Columbine was really good I thought.. Roger and Me was excellent.. I loved TV Nation!!! It was cutting edge, they did all kinds of social experiments... I remember one particularly well.. He had a youth hockey team from canada try to cross the USA border on roller blades and an American family with birth certificates and ss cards and Photo IDs try to cross into Canada and the hockey team got in and the family in a car got turned around... I dunno I know they had trouble crossing anyway... the point was to show how lax USA security was... another featured a black man trying to hail a cab in NYC with a huge sign with flashing lights that said I need a cab.. and mr moore was standing right up the street and mr moore got the cab every time.

I don't think that Mr Moore is a journalist.. he is a documentary film maker... what he shows is one sided, but it is accurate. He does, sadly like you have stated, get too much into sensationalism and it has hurt his standing... he also gets smeared like no one else buy the conservative media, i.e. Fox News, CNN.....

it was mostly Rupert and CNN this time around.

Michael Moore has always told only one side of the story.

He has turned into a left wing socialist.

good opinion...I kind of agree with ya. If he told both sides to the story, people my take him a little more seriously. and he has lost 50 something pounds by the way.

This is just my opinion.

So it's not a question and it isn't seeing both sides. So how are you any better than him?
