i feel sorry for all in third world countries......
i often recognize that it's no doing ofine that i wasn't born into that life.
however, do you know how bad you have it when you have nothing to compare it to? do they know that we have clean water? health care? television? they can't google it, can they? sometimes ignorance really is bliss. for instance, i thought i had a really privileged life until i drove through the hills of montecito. it served as a reminder that i don't have millions of dollars. but....my husband adores me, my three year old is precious, my nineteen year old is beautiful, smart, giving and loving. i have three sisters and their families in my town and our father will be 78 tomorrow. i have a good job and a home. i saw a sign that said nobody's perfect, unless they have a smile. and folks, i think i'm perfect. i don't need all that money.

if those 3rd world children know real love, it will help endure the tragic lives they must live. i hope

Of course I do! I wish I could help them, but I'm just a kid and I can only do so much. It's terrible I can live the high life while kids like that are going to bed hungry every night. It's like living in Hell. Speaking of Hell, Antoinette can go there for all I care. How can you be so selfish?

Of course I do. Anyone with half a heart does, but I also fill sorry for the kids who live right here in the U.S.A. who are starving, sick and homeless. I would much rather help these kids in our own backyard, than to help anyone anywhere else...

We need to care because if the United States does not stop eliminating God in all our schools and our children lives we will fall to a third world country. That is what is predicted for the good ol USA if it does not repent for its sins and turn back to believing in God.It says this in the book of Revelations.

Im more worried about the kids in the US, at the rate they are going and the apathy displayed WE might be a third world country in 100 years. thank god I'll be long gone!

Yes I do. They have rough lives, and I do donations from time to time. But is not just a few countries. Most all countries have kids in poverty and homeless.

I feel sorry for myself an awful lot, it's not something I'm proud about. But if you say you are sorry, isn't that implying that it's your fault? I don't understand. All I did was read my books. It IS my fault, however, that I keep on talking when I should be in bed. Goodnight.

We all feel sorry. And we help on little scale: we buy a UNICEF
card,support international organization,etc.
But for sure this problem is huge, and only politicians have the
power to make real big things.

yup- but americans usually dont even think about people less fortuante then them unless its in the news- even victims from hurricane katrina are forgotten unless there's an update on channel 5. We need to start caring more about people who live in our world more or at least in our own country!

Yes I do...... this January I am going to Uganda to do missions work out there for 2 weeks and I can't wait. I know that it is going to be a painful experience to see all that goes on out there and all the little orphans but I can't wait to see how God is going to use all of us that are going out there . There is going to be about a group of about 20 of us from churches in our area going and one out of the 20 is my 6 year old daughter she can't wait I know it might sound crazy and my family already thinks I am crazy for wanting to go let alone bring one of my daughters out there but we really feel God wants us to go and I know he will protect us while we are there.
