The last 60 days are among the wettest period in history for North Texas. What you are seeing is double or triple the usual number. Florida, being rainy and humid all the time should be worse.

Florida has enormous mosquitos, but the most annoying is the "love bug" which will cover your car in a blanket of lustful suicide! They are true pests!

Yes the further south you go and the more humid, the more likely you are to see an abnormal amount of bugs and big too.

In that area they have Palmetto bugs ,they look like big roaches,aboul 2 or 3 inches long.Not good for anuthing but crunching under your feet.

Yes. There is a booming screen business in those places. I hear there is hardly a porch that isn't screened in these days. I've even seen whole pools and yards under screen.

There is bugs EVERYWHERE!!! Especially mosquitos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in Houston and it's horrible. I reccomend you buy bug repellent and something to spray on your car to keep the bugs away. Some of them carry diseases.
