Homophobia is born out of IGNORANCE which is derived from a SUBCONCIOUS FEAR of homosexuals.
Your *disapproval* of homosexuality is due to your Freudian FEAR of being sexually attracted to your father - which is, indeed, a PHOBIA

I love that you made that statement, I have found when men are so "homo phobic" there might be a little more to the story than meets the eye....if a man is truly alright with his own manhood and sexuality, why would he be threatened...unless he may be a smidgen tempted.....there would be nothing happen unless you wanted it too right??? So if a guy hits on a guy and hes not bi or gay, he just tell him barking up the wrong tree and go on......the lesbian thing sure gets to men doesnt it??????

It does ring of an issue. It might be a double standard, or it might be a matter of choice. Homophobia is a matter of fear. How can a straight person be so afraid of sexuality when it isn't hurting them. You would think that homosexuality was caused by a virus.

Because if homosexuality is normal, then it is only normal for woman. When it happens to a man, it is then a defect. Ok I don't know, but you're right, men do seem to care less when its a gay female. I gotta admit it is a bit of a turn on for me if the two woman are feminine looking, kinda like the forbidden fruit kinda thing.

Because 2 men kissing plays into their fears of their own heterosexuality pure and simple.

fear. If they were in a room with a lesbian woman, odds aren't good that she could force them to do anything they didn't want to. Fearful straight guys picture that all gay males have no thought greater than tearing into their superior hetero stuff.

That's my guess anyway.

Plus, those porno lesbian girls are just straight girls doing whatever it takes to get their next crack rock. Real lesbians tend to look a bit more butch than that - in my experience.

Double standard 100%. When i came out my brother told me that if i was a guy he would disown me. However since i am a woman it is ok. I think it is wrong.
I think two men are beautiful, and there is nothing wrong with it.

Yes, it's a fairly odd double standard too.

Somehow in their mind it's logic, but it just doesn't make sense.

I don't appove of it, (homoPHOBIC implies that you are afraid of homosexuality and practitioners, and I am not. There's a difference between fear and disapproval. Just F.Y.I) and I actually get just as disgusted if I have to watch two women "go at it" as much as I would if I watched two men "go at it".

I don't watch pornography either, so both of these scenes, plus hetero "going at it" are not a usual scene for me anyway.
