I have a fern hanging on my patio, just a few feet from the sliding glass door. Every year a pair of doves nest there. I watch as the male and female take shifts watching the nest, and eating. Then one morning there will be a tiny pair of eggs. A while later you can see two tiny replicas peaking out from mom's wing. It seems like moments after that they will have flown down to my waterfall and then off into the world. This magic is repeated year after year. Yes, I believe.

Yes and no. Just for fun and curiosity i watch David Blaine,David Copperfield and Criss Angel magic which i consider very amazing and of a high standard. I am amazed they are capable of doing almost impossible things that an ordinary human cannot do. Though they claim there are no camera tricks involved i still have my reservations. Maybe in reality they do have certain gifts and powers they are endowed with. The same is true with some spiritual mediums, martial arts exponents, and others who are able to cure sick people in an instant, exorcise spirits, 'see' through objects, chew and swallow broken glass, breaking stones with fingers, and do other feats of strength. All these appear to be another form of 'magic'.
But in order not to kill my enthusiasm i prefer to keep an open mind and believe that some of these things are true and in the process i can learn something valuable from them. It is often better to believe in certain things than to totally disbelieve them.
