Just to clear up your question Baseball will be in the 2008 Olympics. The USA has allready automatically qualified by deafeating Cuba.
China will also have a team and I read the New York Yankees may go to China in March to promote baseball.

There have been several throughout history, as the Pan Am Games often change sports.
Some different sports include roller skating, baseball and rugby. Since the 2007 Games are being held in Brazil, they are apparently including futsal, which is similar to indoor football/soccer.

I think Baseball. Because for the 2012 Olympices in London they will not have baseball, but I don't know if in 2008 they will have baseball in Beijing, China.
