It doesn't matter what senator.

Would it be:

Senator Doe
141 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington DC 20510

Or do I need to include the state they represent?

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awhEK

Step1 You need to identify your Senators. The easiest way to accomplish this is to go to the website provided by the United States Senate. Throughout this website' s many updates and redesigns, there has always been a link labeled "Find Your Senator." Follow this link. Step2 You have arrived at a site which lists the two Senators who represent your state. This page can be book marked for easy access in the future and will be updated with each election, so the same book marked page will display accurate information. The same cannot be said for the links you will follow below, so it is a good idea to make your bookmark here. Step3 Each Senator's entry contains three elements: The name of each Senator, the address of their office in Washington D.C. and a web form to contact the Senator. The Senator's name is highlighted as a link to their Senate website. This website contains information about legislation that the Senator has proposed or endorses and the various committees of which the Senator is a member. The Senator's address is the street address where the Senator can receive mail (if you prefer to send your comments that way) or receive visitors if you should decide to visit Washington D.C. while Congress is in session. The web form provides a simple, direct line of contact for you to share your thoughts on a specific issue with your Senator. This is a good time to wander through the Senator's individual website gain a greater understanding of the Senator's current activities. Be sure to keep an eye on the clock, though. You have a busy life, and you'll want to leave yourself time to write your comments. Step4 Begin on (or return to) the book marked page listing your Senators. Choose the web form link provided for you to contact that Senator. Your personal information is required (name, address, etc.) so that your Senator's staff can ensure that you are truly one of the people your Senator has been elected to represent. In the form field which requests your email address, be sure to use your personal email address. The last form field before entering your comment is the subject line. This is a menu from which you are required to choose a single subject. There are a large number of choices encompassing almost every aspect of governmental conversation. Choose the one which applies best to your comment, but don't worry if your comment falls somewhere between the lines. This field is a tool used by the Senator's staff to increase their ability to get your opinion to the Senator on related topics. It is not designed to restrict you from expressing your thoughts, even if those thoughts encompass several topics. Step5 This internet access is designed to help you communicate with your Senate representatives, but it does not erase the need for etiquette and the proper form of address to an elected official. The proper salutation for a letter to a United States Senator is "Dear Senator (Last Name)." If you prefer to send your letter in hard copy, the salutation would be the same, but the address on the envelope would be: The Honorable (Full Name) United States Senate (Address)

The Honorable Senator John Doe

Including the state will assure that it gets to the proper office. They always want to be address as The Honorable, even the most dishonorable ones.

Do you vote? Your senator's name should be in the voters' pamphlet. You can look them up on the Internet and send them an E-mail. I E-mail a congressman and the senator all the time.
