We moved in a year ago, and I am really good at being able to tell if there is a spirit in a home. However, I have started to notice odd things since 2 months ago. In my bedroom, I have an extremly strong feeling someone is always directly over my shoulder. I can feel it so clearly, but at the same time, I'm unsure.

I have only noticed about a week ago that I can see things clearly out of the corner of my eye. I will walk back to see if it was something else when there is nothing else there. It's are usually clearly a person. How do I determine for a sure fact my house has a spirit w/o calling anyone to come over?

I personally would go to the library and see if there is anything in a old newpaper or something about your house. If you are not sure what to look for ask a librarian how you can go about finding info on your house like if there was a death in it or something might have happened in it.Don't tell the librarian about the ghost part but that you just want to see if your house has a history to it.

Do you smell surfur in the house when you suspect something is in the house with you? The smell will be very distinctive. Also, the room will grow cold to the point where you will get a cold chill on your arms ....it will stay cold till it is gone.....do you hear any unusual noices like a scratching between the walls? Or is anything of yours missing? Do you find anything of yours out of place & maybe in a different place & you know you did not put it there? Years ago, when I realized my house was haunted....I heard noises comming from the kitchen...it sounded like dishes were being thrown against the wall crashing onto the floor....as I walked through the dinning room to get into the kitchen I could smell surfur very distinctive.....I also would hear a scratching as if something with claws was climbing up the wall....tho there was nothing there but the wall. Small things would appear in the most strangest places & I knew I did not put it where I would find it. My house was haunted for many years.....it did not harm me but it did my room mate....she moved out . I still live in the same house today. Today the house is clear. No more spirits.....no more poltegeists......I burnt white leaf sage off & on for months on end....I still do to clear the air....at least once or twice a month. But when the spirit was active I would burn sage sometimes twice a week.....I would go into every room of the house with it. I would smudge the house & me. I still do .

Well, the feeling of being watched is one sign, so is seeing someone out the corner of your eye. Any cold spots? It's a coldness along the lines of standing in the snow barefoot. Very icy cold. Get the chills/goose bumps out of nowhere? Hairs on the back of your neck and arms stand on end? Any odd really vivid dreams? When I first began to notice spirits, these are the things I noticed.

You cant be sure until something thats really unexplainable happens. Your "i sense a spirt over my shoulders" and the "i see a person in the corner of my eye" can easily be explained with paranoia. Wait until something moves or blood appearing on the wall, then do something about it. If you hear unexplained sounds, then you should really check it out. Squeaks and animal sounds dont count, even if its like a cow mooing in your bed room.

If it only started 2 months ago the ghost is most likely connected to an object that came in the house around that time. Find out what the object is and wash it with salt water and smudge it with sage.

you've already admitted being able to "detect" spirits, so its a given you believe in ghost. so normally seeing them would be the next step..

try to rationalize things, if there were ghosts given how many trillions of people have been alive since the beginning of time, then this would be one crowded plane of existence we are living on.

focus more on your life as it is and not as what it could be.

You could try taking some pictures...if you have a digital camera you can take as many as you want and if you don't get anything you can always try again.

It would help if you actually address whomever you might think is there; you don't have to know their name...just 'know' that is who you're addressing...and tell them that you'd like for them to appear in the photos if they are seeking your help, etc.

It is no guarantee, but it is a place to start...then you have to be practical and rule out any "odd" objects and make sure there were no reflective surface, etc.

Use a tape recorder in your bedroom and ask questions; the spirit should answer. Afterwards listen with the volume up loud, or when you get that weird feeling have a camera handy.

I think the only spirits in your house are Jack Daniels and Jim Beam.

I do not believe in haunted houses, and I think you have a big superstitious imagination, but if it makes you feel better then you should try to contact paranormal experts and get there opinions, if you can gather enough evidence then have a priest come and perform an exoticism on your house.
