the revenue R, in thousands of dollars for a small business can be modeled by R=t^3-t^2+t+82, where t is the number of years since 1990. In what year did the revenue reach $90,000?

I keep on getting this negative answer...can anyone show me how to solve this step by step?

The third year.

1^3 - 1^2 + 1 + 82 = 83
2^3 - 2^2 + 2 + 82 = 88
3^3 - 3^2 + 3 + 82 = 103
