No, and they never will be. Six and eleven will never be equal, either. But it's important to understand that men and women are different. They always have been and they always will be. Now, that doesn't mean to say that women should be further objectified or silenced or downplayed, but it does mean that in today's world, the opportunities offered to both men and women are fair.
Besides. I didn't get into Johns Hopkins because I'm white and male. Maybe also because I don't have much money.
Are things fair now?

It's depends how you define equal. In some areas they dominate and others not. Are female animals equal to males in nature?
To say that women would be equal if Hillary were elected president is ridiculous. If women are not equal now how does her becoming president then make you equal. You would have to be equal in all categories except the presidency.

No. It's better, it's getting there. But we are a long, long way off from equal rights for woman. Or more so from anyone who isn't a rich straight white male.

fairly close...... i think you you can find isolated cases where some are behind but those who are willing to do what a man is capable of doing then they are OK. the biggest problem is that women have right now is the rise and acceptance of religions that oppress them such as Islam. second the weaker women who are out there wanting things given to them because they a female. a real women will work hard and then get what is earned just like a man.

(not trying to be rude) but men are sometimes piggish and its no doubt that most women mature way faster than males and its even mor immature to descriminate others because we can actually hold a human in us for almost a year while we still are underestimated.
Women should be equal in every way men should be.
