If you have a concussion, you may experience vommiting soon. Sleep on your side, just in case. Check to see if a bump forms on the back of your head. That most likely means that you don't have a concussion, but that does not 100% assure that you DON'T have one. An ice pack may help the pain.

If it is a concussion, you've hit the back part of your brain, either the sensomato sensory cortex, parietal lobe, or the primary visual cortex. A blow to your primary visual cortex can prevent or mess with your sight. A blow to the parietal lobe can mess with memory. Hitting your sensomato sensory cortex can hinder motor skills.

I'm going to tell you to go to the doctors anyways. My sister has had three concussions. If your head isn't treated you could end up with a serious brain aneurism(bruise on your brain) which is FATAL. If your head is in pain a few days later, go to the hospital. If you have trouble seeing, moving, or remembering things, immediatly see a doctor. Get an MRI. Only a doctor can truly diagnose and prescribe treatment.

If your brain continues to swell while you are sleeping, you might never wake up. Or if you do you run the risk of waking up as a vegetable. Why did you not go to the ER? You had better seek immediate medical attention even if it means calling 911 for an ambulance. This was very irresponsible on your part, what were you thinking? Get to the doctor. Now.

Additional information. Do not take any medications, you do NOT want to mask any of your symptoms. Are your pupils dilated? Are you nauseous? These are both signs of a concussion, but you can have a concussion without having them. The increased pain is definitely one sign of a concussion.

When in doubt about your state health, seek advice.
In this situation, if I were you, I'd go to a hospital as
quickly as possible and have a doctor look my head
over.
It might not be anything serious at the moment, but
something might have happened that could become
infected later; or, if another head ache develops, it
could grow into something much more than just a
head ache.

Get well soon.

Heres the deal with head injuries.

Some manifest quickly, others can take days.

Epidural bleeds show up quick, and can kill.

Subdural bleeds can take longer to show signs and symptoms, but they can kill just as easily as epidural bleeds can.

Concussions are basically nothing more than a 'brain rattling'.

The part that concerns me about your complaint, is that it happened hours ago, and you are just now getting a headache.

Vision duisturbances? Blurry? Sick to your stomach? Did you get knocked out when it happened?

Hate to say it, know you don't want to hear it...but go see a doctor

If you do have a concussion, you probably wouldn't have been able to type out your question.

Take a Tylenol or something and if it doesn't ease the headaches, please, please, don't be stubborn and just go to the doctor. There's really nothing you can do besides that.

Good luck.
