we rank about #37 in health care. Costa Rica, Cuba, Canada and most of Europe are ahead of us, and probalby Japan too.

Education-wise, about 10 years ago (maybe 15) or so we dropped out of the top 10.

Canada usually gets high marks in quality of life; Japan sometimes gets high marks, too.

it is an analogous UN that condemned us for embargoing their united states as quickly as they pointed missiles at us. And Cuba's economic device is failing and the individuals want to go away. There are extra Cubans in Florida than there are in Cuba. The U.S. education device, on the different hand, is loose so the sole salary are those the corrupt beauracrates that are on the boards of educations and interior the unions make whilst they pocket further and extra of our education money.

Uh, a LOT of countries have much better education that we have.

Americans consistently score really low on international tests.

Also, in civilized countries, people can GET healthcare, which a LOT of people (and most children) in the U.S. simply can't afford.

A lot of countries are cleaner -- less trash, less smog.

And a lot of countries have a much freer press -- that is, instead of the very narrow political views you can find here, there have much broader ranges and varieties of viewpoints expressed on TV and in the papers.

We're also one of the most violent countries that aren't actually having a war going on on our soil.

High murder rate.

High infant mortality.

And a rapidly shrinking middle class, with increasing concentration of money in fewer and fewer hands.

Actually, we're more and more resembling a Feudal society -- "Divine Rights of [Kings/President]", theocracy, anti-science, aristocrats and serfs.

I don't know, but I would be a complete *** to go ahead and say we were number one in everything without doing research!!! I know our health care system needs some work, and we have a high rate for poverty. I seriously doubt that we have the best education system. Like all countries we have our good points and our bad points.

Canada. In Canada, all citizens have health insurance. The cost and quality of living are very high and luxurious. Canadians tend to earn a greater living. Poverty in Canada is very small, and the typical low-income area looks very middle class. Many Canadians are very educated and find education, quality of life and family a valuable asset.

Honestly, without going on and on, we are the best at saying we are the best. I am all about being proud of your country but we rank pretty low in the veiws of many countries in the worl, you nkow canada has free health care, trust me in the future when science us to live longer and healthier, at a very very high price, free health care will come in handy. I say Cananda in my opinion is the best country in the world, educated, laid back, and a feeling of actually honesty and care from their government.

I lived in England for few years, and we visited quite a few other countries while living so close to them. I can tell you this......
Nothing makes you truly appreciate how blessed you are to have been born in America than when you have to live elsewhere.
Enough said.
