Could he serve in her cabinet? Or, is he prohibited by the Constitution from doing this. He is already working behind the scenes in a powerful way in her fundraising and doing a very good job of it. She has stated she would use Bill as an "ambassador" to rebuild the U.S. reputation so badly hurt under the Bush administration.

He will not likely be put in any position that is in direct line of succession to the Presidency, so no, we will probably not see him as Secretary of State. Hillary would be silly not to use his talents though, and he would be an excellent Ambassador at Large.

Vlad, you hit the nail right on the head! There's no law against it; early in the Republic, former presidents often served in the government. I think Bill Clinton would be awesome as secretary of state for the United States of America. Tweety, bite your tongue! Jimmy Carter is a much better construction manager or government subsidized peanut farmer than government official at any level, imo.

There is no law that requires cabinet members to be constitutionally eligible to become President.

If memory serves a significant member of the Clinton cabinet (perhaps Madeline Albright?) wasn't a naturalized US citizen. SO there's no reason Clinton couldn't be.

She could, but she has been noted saying Bill Clinton would be a Ambassador maybe within the UN. This would bring relations back together abroad.

Wow. You've got the cart so far ahead you can't even see the horse anymore. If. If. Besides, she's already promised to keep him as far away from her as possible.
