I am a very low maintenance person. I love simple things, and simple moments. I would rather watch and hear the animals around me instead of watching TV--I enjoy listening to birds in the morning, with a nice cup of coffee. I like sunrises and sunsets, rain and the smell of it, I like to whistle all day, I enjoy praying for anyone who needs it. I prefer my grandma's feather bed to a posturepedic mattress, I love homemade quilts on cold nights, I enjoy lemonade or sun tea instead of martinis, I like to feel comfortable in what I want to wear and not what a fashion mag says I should wear, I like lived-in homes, and I love a woman who also is grounded, loves God, who is kind and sweet, and loves me, too. So nothing else much matters in the scheme of things. Overall, I am definitely very predictable and a low maintenance person.

I'm very low maintenance in the aspect of what I expect from other people or even my own appearance. I am fine to just roll with it, and I don't expect much, so I'm fine with whatever I get. My everyday attire consists mainly of scrubs and converse, so I don't worry too much about my hair or nails or anything.
However, I am a perfectionist in the work I perform and product I produce. But I am only high maintenance in that way- in what I do myself.
And I am DEFINETELY erratic and unpredictable.

I am a high maintenance person, meaning when I make my mind to finish something I do not care how hard it is, as long as I can do the job, and finish it. I am not an erratic, or unpredictable person.

Hi enki--if you mean $$$ maintenance, very low. The things I value the most don't cost a cent. This would never even have occurred to me, until someone TOLD me I was "low maintenance" meaning having "things" wasn't important to me, & I'd even wear stuff with holes if it was comfortable, & I could get away with it. (Not in business.) As to the rest--I don't think I'm erratic or unpredictable.

I recently heard about the reference of high maintenance, with the erratic and unpredictable being added to my awareness now. I realize that these conditions start at an early age and may expand beyond person-hood. and into actions which become an entity much larger than any might expect to such an overwhelming convergence of possible constraints. amazing view, Thank You.

Oh gosh, look at all those answers, Enki. I wonder if you'll ever get around to reading mine way over here.
Well, I'm fortunate enough to be one of those who are able to find great pleasure in the simplest of things. It doesn't take much to win my heart, and it's just one of those things that I was taught; to appreciate the world and life around me in whatever form they might come.
And I am also a firm believer that a girl should be independent enough to be able to maintain herself and work for the things that she would like to have in her life. For me, the satisfaction of ownership came from the way it was earned.
I'm not so sure about the next question though. Erratic and unpredictable? I guess not - know me long enough and you just might find me a little bit boring, I guess.
Thanks, Enki, I believe I will have a good night's sleep, now that it's finally time for bed in this part of the world. And I wish you a good Monday morning...I've already had mine...

Low...I feel that there are so many other things, and people that need things, than for me to buy that 10th black t, or those 200$ shoes, or that bike....when 5 T's are enough, the leather on a pair of shoes that cost 70$ is just as attractive and will last just as long, and that bike....well, I can use a lesser on.
I love my things, don't get me wrong, and I buy what I want and sometimes a bit more expensive than I should, but all in all very low maintenance. Of course I don't have 600 dollar handbags to put on my shoulder for all my girlfriends to see either. But I have a very appreciative husband!! Fringe bennies are really nice.
