I have only read one book that had me captivated enough to do a read through at a sitting. It was "Truman Capote, " In cold Blood" My interest was because the crime happen in my area and that made it more meaningful and real. I do not like fiction......About 600 pages...not sure.
I read many book; yet my latest addiction is Cooking Books. I order the book read the recipes look at the pictures and never try anything new.....Since then I have quit buying cookbooks. and just reading them I have plans on cooking something new... But, I would rather sample a friends recipe at a back yard BBQ then swap recipes.

It depends on how much I'm enjoying the book. Actually, I'm quite a slow reader. I read all the time, but I read slowly, not in comprehension, but because I read every single word on the page. I'm not sure if that makes sense, though, LOL.
So, to answer your question, if it's a really entertaining book, very fast paced, not all that challenging, I can finish it in about 3-5 days, depending on my schedule. However, if it is more challanging or not as entertaining, it may take 7 or more days.

I am preggy so I have a lot of spare time most days. I love to read, it takes me about 1 -2 days. Once I pick up a book, I hardly ever put it down, I find myself opening the book again just to find out what will happen next.

About 10 hours. ~
Fiction I read at 60 pages an hour. Scientific stuff a little slower, maybe 40 to 50 pages/hr.

I have sat ans read books in one sitting if it was a good book and I had no interruptions. So it could take a few hours to maybe a few days.
