Will for starts I would have been looking for Binny Boy you know the guy that planned the planes flying into the towers, secondly I would not have gutted school funding so Big company's could get a bigger tax break, that did not work for Reagen or Georgey boys dad, most of his time in office has been a down hill slide for the county, so I am not to sure if a High schooler could not have done a better Job. But to be fair I really don't think that he is a bad president just a stupid one, and in my book that is worse.

The man out and out LIED about the reason he sent our troops into Iraq---he wants the oil rights and NEEDED to get Sadam because he failed MISERABLY trying to catch the cave dwelling Osama Bin Laden... every day---innocent AMERICAN men and women are basically being put to DEATH over there (along with countless numbers of INNOCENT IRAQI people)because GEORGE BUSH IS A GREEDY S.O.B. .... oh and then to top THAT off, his little BUDDY gets 30 MONTHS prison time for committing Perjury, making false statements, and obstruction of justice and KING GEORGE thinks the sentence is "TOO HARSH" and commutes it to NOTHING more then a $250,000 fine and 400 hours of COMMUNITY SERVICE.... how much jail time would WE have to serve if WE were convicted of those 3 CRIMES----oh and lets not forget this JERK Libby almost cost a CIA OPERATIVE and her family their LIVES!!!!!!! But George lets him go basically FREE... oh big deal he can never be a lawyer again---he paid the damn fine in SECONDS and will probably write a book that people will be stupid enough to buy and make him RICH AGAIN..... Now back to KING George.... Ok so he also allowed his BROTHER JEB who was then Governor of Florida to basically FIX the first election so that KING GEORGE could win when actually it was AL GORE who actually WON the election...... Oh and remember little things called 9/11 and Katrina? George made as much as a TINY PIT STOP in NYC after the Trade Center was toppled to the ground and waited for WEEKS until doing something about the poor people in New Orleans who lost everything because of Hurricane Katrina..... He's the "I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANONE BUT ME AND MY BUDDIES" president.

I am totally outraged that Bush has placed himself above the laws of the land, specifically the Constitution, the Geneva Convention, Congress (noncompliance with subpoenas; use of signing statements as a de facto line-item veto) and the Judicial Branch (lobbying for mandatory minimums to all federal offenses to limit judiciary discretion, then taking discretion for himself by commuting Libby's sentence).

What I would do better, or at least differently:
-- I'd surround myself with cabinet and staff that are smarter than me and will tell me when I'm wrong.
-- I wouldn't attack sovereign nations then take 50% interest in their oil rights as ransom to help them rebuild their country
-- I support treating prisoners in accordance with the Geneva Convention, not torture.
-- I would re-implement the Energy Policy we had 30 years ago that would have led us to alternative energy sources and away from dependence on OPEC, not an energy policy that doles out 8 billion in 'welfare' payments to big oil companies & rebates to buy gas guzzling Hummers.
-- I would have agreed to emmissions reductions at the recent G8 Summit and made a sincere effort to ratify the Kyoto Protocol
-- I would use the power of my office to close loopholes that allow "vulture funds" to operate instead of lining my pockets with their ill-gotten spoils.

There's more, but that's enough to illustrate my beliefs.

He's not that bad of a president.
Other than that he has managed to accrue more debt that aall previous presidents combined - yet we have not seen any massive new projects for the benefit of all Americans.
Other than that he has managed to divide Americans like nothing I can remember and sully our nation's reputation such that our "allies" see us as the major threat to the world.
Other than that during his administration we have seen US poverty and US child mortality increase to be the highest in the developed world, while he tells us the economy is great and our health system is the best in the world.
Apart from all that yeah I suppose he is not too bad. When you include all that he is of course a disgrace.

1. if our country was attacked i'd go after the people who attacked us ... not a country totally uninvolved in the aggressive action.

2. i wouldn't lie so much.

3. i wouldn't distort science to pander to the religious.

4. i would keep future generations in mind so wouldn't allow the polluting, raping and pillaging of our nation's natural resources by private corporations.

5. i'd make sure that the American People got their fair share of the profits from any business endeavor licensed for public lands (ie oil, natural gas, lumber, mining etc)

6. i'd close the tax loops holes for the mega wealthy.

7. i'd use the money garnered from the closed loopholes and the public land business enterprise percentage to fund domestic policy such as education, health care, city infrastructure repair and improvements and updating the electric grid.

8. i'd focus our security apparatus (the National Guard) here at home with border security, port and shipping container inspection and security at primary targets like nuke and chemical plants.

9. i'd invest heavily into alternative energy research and engine design.

10. i'd keep the Constitution and the Bill of Rights intact.

11. in dealing with terrorism i'd use intelligence aggressively to track down and prevent attacks and use diplomacy to gain co operation from the world community instead of employing imperialistic bullying tactics.

12. i wouldn't smugly place myself and cronies above the law of the land.

those are 12 things just off the top of my head that i'd do differently than the current resident of the Oval Office.

The only question, that remains for the candidates, running for the office in 08', is not about what they could to improve....It is more like what their solutions are to get out of these mess that this president has created. How are they going to get us out of Iraq without leaving a humanitarian disaster behind??? How are they going to get our economy back on track to its stable pace???How are they going to convince and assure the american people that the mass corruption in Washington will no longer be tolerated??

Fact is, no matter who is in office, some people are going to be satisfied and some people are going to always gripe. News channels are always going to get the facts wrong, and T.V. is always going to make fun of the Commander.

At times Clinton's approval rating was horrible, and Comedy Central still made jokes about the president.

Most people poke fun at George W. because hes not that great of a public speaker, but he does indeed keep firm with his decisions, and he has high morals. Some people are gifted with great speech and interaction but definitely like to "Flip Flop" on their decisions on what they feel is right and wrong (John kerry).

I don't think Bush is too bad, especially after Clinton.

They would have sat back after 9/11. Afghanistan would have been the focal point of the war, but much like Bush the war in Afghanistan would have ended for them when Bin Laden moved into Pakistan. From there nations like Iraq and Iran would see what affect a terrorist attack would have on the USA. State sponsored terrorism would have become a larger problem than it already is.

Going after Saddam, let hostile nations that sponosor terrorism know that if they even think about sponsoring an attack that we will install a regime change in your nation. But since the panzy-*** left has succeded in hurting Bush's image this war in Iraq has been a failure.

I personally don't like the man because he exemplifies smug stupidity and a confidence in himself that has no support in reality.

What would I have done differently? No invasion of Iraq. Work on keeping alliances with countries that have traditionally been friendly to the U.S. rather than start on a course of unilateralism that drives off allies. Apply more pressure on Pakistan to get help in capturing Osama Bin Ladin and members of the Taliban. No Guantanomo. No ignoring of the constitution. No secret wiretaps. Obeying the law, period. Focus on giving the U.S. better human intelligence gathering ability (i.e., recruiting and hiring people in intelligence agencies who can speak Arabic and know something about Arab and Muslim culture), rather than relying on high-tech gadgets and superficial measures like "no-fly" lists. I'd better stop. I could write a book.
