Has anyone tried the Cashel Soft Saddle?

Question

I just want some reviews before thinking about buying this saddle, my Arabian doesnt fit in many western saddles and getting a custom one is too $$$ but I want a saddle for my friends to ride in but is also comfortable enough for my horse.

Do any of you guys use the stirrups? Or do your horses get uncomfortable when you use the stirrups?

I love it!! Works awsome!! I ride in a bareback pad, so the Cushel is a nice change. Then it fits most of my horses. I didn't feel a bump..... Mine didn't slide, but I use a breastcollar, like you should with any bareback pad type!!!! & I got mine for 200.00$$ which is not that much!! & Mine did fit most of my horses!!!!! So I don't know what that other person is talking about!!!!

the clarification for a saddle tree is that it incredibly is a skeleton, which helps distribute a rider's weight throughout a extra robust section that makes it extra common on a horse's back. no remember how a treeless saddle's made, it won't distribute the load besides as a saddle tree will. i've got seen what a bareback sore can do to a horse and the discomfort they bypass by when I worked on mending it. I swore i'd in no way enable that ensue to any of my horses back (I had a mare i'd leased out that this got here about to.).

i presonally think they are uncomfortable. i worked at a trail barn and we got one to try out and everyone hated it. there is like a bump going down the center which make it uncomfortable and they tend to slide around easily too. we tried it on many different horses, fat skinny tall short, with the same result. would not recommend especially for the money.

Yes.It works very well if u want 2 bring a friend along comfortable&my horse likes it.
