Riverotter7 and I will have 27 hand fasted monogamous years together on October 9th. Hooray for us, and all who have attained even a year together!

Gay people can't get married so no. I know a lesbian couple who have been together for a long time, I am not sure the exact years, but they have a 22yo son and an 18yo daughter (both str8 BTW).

Yes, I have. I go to church with a lesbian couple who have been together for 21 years and I recently met a gay couple who have been together for 16 years. It goes to show you that there are glbt people who take their relationships seriously. Now, if we could legally get married in all 50 states... hmmm!

yes, i know a couple that has been together for 35 years.
I think is so awesome. It is possible to be gay and have a loving and lasting relationship.
I have been with my girlfriend for 6 going on 7 on Feb 14. I am hoping that we make it to our 50th anniversary. I can't imagine life with out my partner.

I met a lesbian couple in 1972 and they said that they had gotten married in Hawaii in 1970. I don't know if they are still together today. If they are, they made it 37 years.

they haven't been "married" as in binding legal paperwork to back it up, but yes I know two couples who have been together over 20 years

I have been for 20 years...my brother-in-law and his partner have been together for close to 40 years....there are lots of us out here.
