I was able to sign an initial contract during a job interview, the problem is that we're going to have two weeks of training first, then they'll decide if we deserve to be hired. Can I still refuse to pursue the contact since i wasn't able to undergo the trainings? it'll still be held next month? please advise.

They probably won't hire you anyway since you can't make the training. They'll think you changed your mind or feel that you can't be serious about the job since you can't even turn up for the training. If you want the job you have to tell them beforehand you can't make the training and give very good reasons.
