There are a lot of hard jobs out there, but some of the easiest jobs in 3rd world countries are harder than the hardest jobs in western civilization. Example: there are men in Africa who search river bottoms for diamonds. They'll be underwater for 2 hours at a time with no goggles and only a small breathing tube that pumps out 50% exhaust, 50% air, and they descend through a narrow tube.

I have had many jobs in many genras but I have to say the hardest has been mothering a 2 year old. (That one is a test for your sanity)

any job could be the "hardest" if you don't know what you're doing..however, king crab fishing might be considered the hardest for most people...take care..

Well it would be being a parent but if your talking about one that pays I'd say a waitress or waiter, to many hard to please people out there. I'm so glad I never tried it, somebody would have killed me, I know I'd be awful at it.
