I ordered a Motorola Razr V3 off of ebay. The Package was sent out on Thursday July 12th. The package is coming from Los Angeles CA 90093 and landing in SC. How long will it take? DOES SATURDAY COUNT AS ONE OF THE 2-3 DAYS? Also do I need to leave my mail carrier another letter to go ahead and leave the package at the side door since I work the same hours the post office does?

I checked on USPS's website and they said it would be three days. Tracking number was given and it was sent out at 3:28pm on July 12th. Not sure what time zone to go by. No signature required just request for a signature since insurance was added to the package. I work in another city than my residency or I would be all up on the post office during lunch time if I could. :) Trust me I'm worst then a little kid on Christmas when it comes to waiting on a package. I'll take all the advice I can get. Thanks in advanced.

You should get it by Monday. You might want to leave a note or go to the post office on your lunch hour and pick it up. That would ne your best bet to be on the safe side. Did they give you a tracking #?

Saturday does count as one of the 2 to 3 days. Anytime you are expecting a package from USPS you should leave a note on your box with delivery instructions. Even if you regular knows what you want done there may be a sub on that day.

additional information - The time used would be from the mailing destination, or Pacific time. Please note, if they printed a label from their home off the USPS web site that doesn't necessarily mean that was the day the item was mailed, just the day the package should be mailed. I've seen people print a label and bring the package in a week later for mailing. Some eBay sellers are notorious for this. You need to know when it was accepted at the post office. That information is not available on the USPS web site, only through the private postal web site for management. I hope your package arrives safe and sound today!

Check www.usps.com on the time ESTIMATE. Note: the postal service is not like UPS or FedEx; postal service doesn't guarantee the transit time; they just promise to charge you extra to get "priority" whatever that means.

The second part: you need to talk to your local post office. Did the sender require a signature?

in the journey that your order became placed Friday night, it became probable shipped Monday. hence it ought to have arrived right this moment. priority mail comes with universal first-classification mail and not one by one. i might touch the shipper and notice while they actually mailed it.
