When I was in elementary school, me and my friends used to treat this black kid really bad. We would be all hanging out, then one of my friends would fart and yell "n***** fart", then we would all gang up on the black kid and kick and punch him, even though we all knew he was not the one who farted. When I think about it now, it seems a little mean, but is this racism?

Um.........I can say this, at first it seemed to be a "bully" situation. However, when you or your friend prevaricated and said the black kid passed gas, and said "n***** fart," then it became racial, because you made a racial slur. Majority of the time when some makes a darogitory or racial comment about someones ethnic backgroung, it is considered racism.

Were you doing it because he was black? If not, then you could have just not known what that word meant and were beating him up just to beat someone up. But it sounds like racism. Either way, that's a pretty horrible thing to do, young or not, you know right from wrong and should be ashamed.

A little mean, you have got to be kidding. You are bullies and racists of the worst kind. If you believe in Karma, your life will not go well.
You better ask this person for forgiveness, you have harmed him.

Was this before or after you tipped cows?

No I jest.

But what you did however was rather mean. If you can still find him I suggest you contact him and apologize. The poor guy is probably undergoing years of THERAPY thanks to you. I mean at least offer to compensate part of his counseling costs. I would think that to be fair.

Yes. If you had done that, but used his name instead of the "n" word, and he just happened to be black, that would just be really mean. Because you all also interjected racial slurs in your taunts, it was mean and racist.

Have you ever seen the movie Deliverance? You should. You might recognize some of your family members.

Are you serious? I think you know the answer to that question, I hope you didn't recount that story just for the sake of verbalizing it.
