Not suicide, but have it planned out?
For example "I will die on *insert date*."
But the reason will be unknown, just to have a rule! You don't know what will kill you. You can just control when. (And it has to be realistic, not like 200 years)

In 2001 I was diagnosed with ALS I given 2-3 years of life. The feeling was dreadful, my kid was only 7 yo at the time. We went through hell.
Thank God I didn't die as per doctor's predictions

No.. I don't really care about death, it will happen when it happens, now what I do care about is how my loved ones will take it. I hope to die at a ripe old age and in my sleep, not hooked up to a machine keeping me alive... blah... keep it o'natural!

I try to live my life so that any day would be a good day to die. If I die tonight, it will be okay. I really don't want to see death coming, though.

No, I would not like to choose.
I would prefer to go in my sleep, before I'm dependant on other people, but I don't know when that will be... I could be disabled in an accident tomorrow...

The date would be unimportant to me (of course I'd rather live longer than not--to see my children grow up, etc.); but what WOULD matter to me, is to be able to choose HOW I die (i.e. painlessly in my sleep)!
