Yahtzee still has the cup you shake the dice in. My husband and I are hooked on it right now, and are playing several games every evening.

I play 5000 with a dice cup all the time. Lots of folks were playing Bunko with dice cups just a couple years back.

The noise of the dice rattling in the cup is so annoying. Besides, everyone knows you get a perfectly random roll by just tossing them with your hand. The cup is superfluous and unnecessary.

Yahtzee?
All I know is when we were kids and our kitchen table was near our living room and my dad was watching television, it was to noisy.
