i hardly ever see my best friend from school. we just drift away i guess.

No...life had different plans for each of us....I speak to them if I see them but I know some have moved away. I miss them at times though and wish it could be like an old movie where we all continued to grow up together and be there for eachother. oh well.......

For the most part my high school friends are still close to me. I'm lucky and I know that is a rare thing. I may not see them for a long while then it seems like I never moved away. I have a closer circle of friends here close to me now.
The good thing about it all is that you will have an expanding group of friends. I recommend keeping in touch with the ones from high school that you hold dear.

I have been best friends with someone from high school and still talking to them is a relationship of 4 years now.

I'm only friends with one person from high school. We met in Spanish class freshman year. That was 10 years ago, we're still bestfriends even though she lives in California, and I live in Wisconsin. We see eachother only once or twice a year, but talk every day!

I have been out of high school for four years, and still have some of my best friends. I'm not as close as I was too most of them. And one who was just a friend is more of a best friend now. Its cool, we all have different lives and goals

In high school, we were a click of 5. Now, there are only two of us still speaking. Time changes people, and not always for the best I'm afraid.

Well I'm IN high school. I'll be a senior and I'm still friends with one girl who I've been friends with since 3rd grade! A few of my friends from elementary school are still friends, but I've lost a lot of them too. High school drama I guess, lol.

no... graduated 25 years ago. I exchanged some e-mails with a couple of friends from back then, that was several years ago, but we've drifted too far apart and there's just no going back anymore.
It's sad how best friends drift apart like that...
