Disbelief - then anger.
Now frustration and more anger, this time directed at my own countrymen who want to cut and run. We are at war - and at the same time, we have representatives on Capital Hill who pride themselves on publicly declaring that we have lost the war - and at a time when our soldiers are on the front lines and in harms way. We have people who think the administration was behind 9/11 - or, at the very least, were responsible for the events.
They do not even try and connect the dots - over 25 years of terror and murder of Americans all over the globe with pretty much impunity, and they act surprised when these tactics culminated in the events of 9/11. Now they want to return to these same policies of inaction and no effective response?
This ideology must be confronted and defeated. Their own government cannot negotiate or utilize diplomacy with these militants (most recent examples are presently coming out of Pakistan), why do people insist that we can?

I haven't forgotten for a minute. I lost coworkers and friends and I had to get back on those planes (to work) very soon afterwards and I was almost obsessed with thoughts running through my mind about what they went through on those flights, who was kill first, whether my friend had to watch his fiance murdered first, or vice versa. I couldn't stop the thoughts.
I was in shock for a long time before I could move to the next phase and not a day goes by that I don't think about it.

I remember. Always will. I cried that day, and then became enraged when Bush used the deaths on that day, and the fear of everyone to further his own agenda. It sickens me to this day that he isn't far from those that committed the horrific acts on that day.
And to the jerk that states he didn't "care" because he had been in first grade - my youngest nephew was 5 when it all happened, and he cared. He knew something bad had happened, and he asked the questions. He knew that many people had lost their lives that day (though his number was 50,000 - just shows the scale of how horrible that was in his world), and that it was something to be upset about. And he wasn't even living in or from NYC - he lives in northcentral Wisconsin the same as he did that day.

Who can forget approximately 911? each and every time I could desire to dial that kind, i think of of that day. I want I had not at all grew to become on the television that morning. It grew to become into chilling to observe & introduced back memories of the days of the Peoples Revolution & the ridiculous bombings of the 60's. I additionally be afflicted by PTSD & it subsides with time, yet I doubt it is going to ever bypass away thoroughly. i can now carry a stick as quickly as I walk the dogs & till final year, i could go the line if I observed someone with a cane of their hand. i grew to become into assaulted with a huge piece of timber in 2001. I definitley can not bypass to a baseball interest by bats. PTSD is extra easy than you think of. problem is that no longer a lot of human beings talk of it to every person else.

That's a day most Americans will never forget nor should we.
It was one of our worst days in our history but it brought us together for a short time, sad part is since then we have lost our unity, we take different views that divide us & those who did this have suceded.
United we stand divided we fall.

Those who are determined not to forget 9/11, should do some research into who was behind the tragedy and why. Be independent, think for yourself, and analyze the events honestly. Do not accept at face value everything the government tells you.

I remember the first thought that went through my head on 9/11 was, "Those bastards (bush and cheney) let this happen!"
Everything I've seen since then leads me to believe my first impression was the right one!
