how many people will think ? what caused the problems in the middle east? if some one came in and took your home and country, killed your children , wife and parents, what would your reaction be? well, that is exactly what happened tothe Palestanians, when the Zionist underhanded stole the country from the Palestanians, just research history, sure Britain and the U,S, gave the Zionist the go ahead and have supported that cause ever since, the murder of the Arabic people their children families etc, what right did we have to give this land to the Zionist ? it was not ours to give, even the real Jew's are highly upset about this evil sceme, and we would be at war now with any other country or people who killed women and
children and civilians the way the I,D,F, KILLS THE ARABS.
AND THE OTHER aRAB COUNTRY'S SEE HOW WE SUPPPORT iSRAEL IN THEIR EVIL HATE US FOR IT,do ou really blame them?? be honest how would you feel? what would you do? seeing your brothers family and country destroyed ?

yupchagee, yes there wre Jew;s in Palestine before and they got along fairly well considering , and that is why so many Jew;s are upset because the Zionist came in after WW11 and started killing the Arabs wholesale, even Ben Gurion said he would do the same as they are doing if he was Arabic, as an American how can you be so cold hearted?

Who is to blame in the middle east??????? How about starting with the people in power and the "religious"? They don't want anyone to be smart enough to know there is more to life than being oppressed and ignorant

Well, it seems like you are answering your own question, but let me tell you my side, since i'm bored and don't want to do this diff eq homework. Israel is not "evil". It is a country, like every other country on this earth, with people like you and I. And I am not defending it as a Jew and I wouldn't care if Israel was primarily Buddhist (maybe it should be huh?). Sure some nations were formed through some really bad history, Israel one of them and I do not agree with the way it was created, but that's politics for you. Turkey also used to be mostly white Europeans until the Muslims invaded too. Today it happens to be that the Western world still has the most influence in the world. The man with the most power will inevitably abuse it. Its just human nature. But killing back and forth is not going to solve any problems. The middle east is in a very complicated situation, culturally, politically, and socially and I can't think of a solution to it and yes, American forces in Iraq don't make it any bit better. It is sad to see it in its present state, but I hope someday Westerners and Middle Easterners will come to a cultural and economic understanding with each other and be at peace. Peace be with you my man.

Arabs are to blame.

1) There are no "Palestinians". The name was invented in the 1970's for political reasons.
2) There were very few Arabs living in what is now Israel before Jews started moving there.
3) Jews have been a continuous presence in that area, especially Jerusalem & Hebron since antiquity.
4) Arabs have been slaughtering Jews there at least since the 1920's. This has always included women, children & the elderly.
5) Nobody GAVE the Jews anything. They had to fight for every thing they have. The Jews had to fight for survival almost without weapons.
6) Israel did not start receiving large quantities of weapons from the US till the 1973 war.
7) Israel does not & never has targeted Arab civilians.

I'm sure you know all of this but prefer to lie to shift blame from the terrorists to the terror victims.

Englan and America are colonial powers and take what they want. it's our history and what we consider a right. Hitler's second book written in prison states that he designed the holocaust or as he called it"the final solution" on the way the Americans massacred the Indians, don't start waving the flag and callinme unpatiotic, I have bullet wounds to prove otherwise. Google the book and read it on line. For ages people have been after the passes and oil in the middle east. Our new administration unfortunately considers armageddon and the rapture a part of their strategic planning. I am saddenrd by what happened to the people in the WTC the workers police firemen and people who are getting sick now. aybe wqe should nuke the whales or bomb the North Pole and hurry the melting of the ice. This is the best country in the world, don't let talk show hosts do your thinking for you, draft dodging pill popping, wife cheating wind bags. Read the books and think for yourself If you're the praying kind PRAY MORE. Pray for peace

Well, I think if you look at how the Palestinians are killing each other in Gaza, and how the Iraqi's are killing each other in Iraq, and how the Afghan's are killing each other in Afghanistan, and how the Pakistani's are killing each other in Pakistan its pretty clear where the problem lies.

If there was no such thing as Israel or the United States the Muslims would be killing each other just as they always have and blaming the non-muslims for the slaughter. While I respect their religion as they worship the same god as us. The requirement to spread the religion by force and not tolerate other religions is going to keep them perpetually at war with the non-muslims whoever they might be. Oh, like say the Hindu's in India.

The middle-east has had problems forever. The easiest answer though would be to blame it on Britain and France drawing arbitrary lines in the sands to develop states in an ungovernable area in the 1920's.

But that is a cop out. The fact is, is that there would be drama and issues there regardless. There always has been and always will be. It is the nature of the tribal bedouine way. You have to protect what is yours as ruthless as possible to ensure your survival. Read Friedman's book "From Beirut to Jerusalem," a must read to attempt to understand the Middle-east.

Well, actually, that is NOT exactly what happened to the Palestinians or even roughly.
And it seems to me that you are excusing terrorism. After all, the fact that Hamas and other groups commit suicide bombings against innocent Israeli citizens is an UNDENIABLE truth. YOU are supplying them with AN EXCUSE to commit murder.
Thus, your very morals are called into question.

Actually the UK had a far larger hand in creating Israel. In any case, it doesn't give them the right to fly planes into office buildings like you're implying.

The Middle East has always had problems. I really hoped we could stay out of that hell hole, but they brought their petty little war to the US.

I blame the world in general, for not being open-minded enough to solve the perpetual violence.
