D: Large Rural Populations

A: Incorrect. Most of Central America has poorly developed health and education infrastructure.
B: Incorrect. For 2 reasons - First, there is no such thing as "native Indian" - that would be someone from India. Second, if they meant native Americans, or indigineous people, neither location has a large population.
C: The United States is considered a constitutional republic with a strong democractic tradition. Central America refers to a region which is comprised of several countries: Belize, Guatamala, Honduras, etc. Central America does not have a democratic government, although some of the countries within the region do have democracies. For instance, El Salvadore and Honduras are a republics. Belize is a parliamentary democracy.

I agree with Scott's answer, except not sure I would classify the US as having a large rural population. What happen to none of the above?

ITS C. All the countries of Central America have democratic governments. This includes the U.S. who is widely known for having a democratic government.
