- yes. once, not proud of it
- moral sex really is based in absolute love, not just a physical need or want
- I fit the category of happily married. I have mixed feelings on that statement. Sometimes I think it would be nice if I had saved myself for my hubby & he likewise.... but we didn't meet until late in college, so I guess it would have been unrealistic
- now, sex & love are completely connected. There were times it wasn't that way- sometimes it was about neediness....
- yes- because of the neediness-- it didn't fulfill what I was looking for in the first place
- yes- dangers are obvious- STDs, emotional damage, desensitizing people about what should be an emotional bond, as well as a physical one. If people are too casual, it no longer has any meaning
- that is a nice verse- it is a reminder that God made us human & expects us to have human needs, but wants us to stay with our one mate to enjoy the pleasures of the flesh....

This is a very interesting question. I'll do my best to answer you. 1. No, NEVER (only shallow and conscienceless people do that. I actually know a woman who does it, and it makes me SICK. Sure, she may get jewelry and other things, but sex is such a personal act that it's shameful to use someone for mere trinkets. . 2. Well, I have never been married. And obviously, I am not a virgin. I have conflicting emotions about this question. I have *thought* I was in love before, and I don't think I've ever TRULY been in love. I've *felt* love and friendship- but never enough to marry someone. I will say I was too young when I lost my virginity (16) and the person I gave it up to was a total loser. I regret that VERY much. 4. Sex and love are connected in ways I cannot even explain. Obviously, if you are deeply in love with someone and they are deeply, truly in love with you, the sex is going to be meaningful and even spiritual. I am not incredibly religious, but I do believe in a Higher Power. 5. Good question. I think I've only felt guilty when I lost my virginity. Back then I equated sex with love. I was naive enough back then to think if a man (BOY) wanted to be that intimate with me, it meant he loved me. ( I know, stupid). 6. Hm. Another difficult question. I read some sort of statistic that scared the hell out of me. Most teenagers now are losing their virginity at TWELVE and younger. That is NOT acceptable. They don't have the emotional capabilities to even fathom what making love is all about. To them, it's all about *hooking up* and I think they get a lot of that from MTV and rap music. I'm old school; I remember when MTV only showed music videos; not the garbage they show now. I think a large segment of our society is too focused on sex- maybe 60%. Why? Because you can see practically anything on the Internet; and I mean ANYTHING, and most people have cable, so they have access to all sorts of stuff. Sex has become a sport and a pastime. The dangers are obvious. Physically, AIDS and STD'S and unplanned pregnancies. (I am pro choice, btw.) 7. I like that verse very much. But, "May you ever be captivated by her love"- that sounds incredible but in this society, unless you find someone of like mind, to me it's too idealistic. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on my opinions but this is my view on things. Thanks for such an insightful question.
