I live in a woodland area. I have a gnome problem. I set something down, turn my head, and its gone! I cant sleep at night because they tap on my window and make humming noises. I've had tools,nuts, and bolts turn up missing. People think im nuts, but it think something small and humanoid is messing with me. Should i set a trap?

If your not lying, I think you should set a trap as fast as you can. Gnomes arent suppose cause any trouble to humans. You might be dealing with elves or imps.. or worse yet, goblins. If its really gnomes that your dealing with, get garden gnomes and place them outside all around your house. Thatll show em whos boss!

No I am sorry to tell you that it is not gnomes you have a problem with but things from places unknown to us that some have the gift to see. My personal opinion would be to leave it alone unless the problem persist and then I would seek a spiritualist not necessarily a church but someone who caste out spirits and do blessings. well i must say u have a problem....go to a pagan store and ask them..they can help i am not so far in knowing everything about this stuff.. evn though i grew up w/ it.....for now try to leave some nice stuff like food out and don't be maen to them their be mean back...thery r playful littles things aren't they..ur best bet is to go to a pagan store and ask them..or find a real pagan that knows about it..or look it up on the internet...

I think it's raccoons. They do take thinks. They climb houses and make funny noises. They have hands and do things like people. I live in a metro area and have a problem with them. So I am sure you do, also.

i've heard about knombs they are little ppl like the dwarfs from snow white but they are ugly they like to play tricks like spit on your toothbrush and stuff like that if u ever hear sounds in the nite like ppl running or things moving around don't move and don't open your eyes because if they see u looking at them they will cut off ur tounge and dig out ur eyes with a needle so u wont tell no one about them

Well, I wouldn't set a normal trap... but unless you know anything about setting traps for catching gnomes, which I certainly don't, then I just say... see if it's something else first.

i admire this question. i became thinking right this moment approximately how conscious we've been of socioeconomics in severe college! i became actually remembering a boy from my artwork classification and it dawned on me that he maximum in all danger had a crush on me. yet, he knew greater suitable than to ever think of he had a raffle. So all of us ended up lonely and hating ourselves and one yet another! formative years is so merciless! i won't be able to undergo to work out my daughter go through as I did! Now, of direction, that undesirable boy might undergo in strategies me as having a charmed journey - yet some human beings do bypass to severe college reunions. So those human beings ought to have fond strategies! OH I DON"T understand!!!! i don't have a lot faith in the folk i understand. Oh thank you HH, now i'm remembering the meanest difficulty I ever did. UGH! the two considered one of my mother and father have insane scientific emergencies happening, I spend my life in hospitals and have not any family members to help. AND NOW i think in charge for being mean to a boy on my bus in junior severe! I even have considered him as a grown up, he even ran for a close-by politcal place of work AND gained! It brings me alleviation to work out that he's nice. Oh, and that i became bullied too! not a lot or something, regardless of the undeniable fact that it happened and it affected me for all times. i don't have confidence that that's a great of passage and that i will by no skill stress my daugther to bypass to college to stand it!

I used to live near the jungle and I learned that it doesn´t matter if you believe or not, they exist.
So...
When you loose something, tell them to please (the please is important) give it back, and continue looking (when you find it, you will SWEAR you had looked there before).
Give them something (in the jungle... they loved a bit of rum, cigarrets and corn... I don´t know what forest people like... maybe some candies and fruit?)
Laugh if you will, but remember this advice the next time you loose your keys, shoes, socks...
And see if it works.
