what is the best watch company so far? what do u think is expensive Rolex or Fossil? can anyone tell me top ten watch companies.

Rolex may be on there, but not as high as most people think. The best manufacturers make their watches in smaller quantities and by hand so most people have never heard of them. Some of the top brands:

The top 3 in most experts' opinion are usually Vacheron Constantin, Patek Phillipe and Audemars Piguet (prices range from 5,000 to well over 100,000)

A Lange & Sohne is probably a close contender but it's German so it loses points for not being Swiss

Other super premium watches that come close to these 4 are
Breguet, Blancpain, Jaeger LeCoultre, Ulyssee Nardin. All are recognized for watch making innovations and make most of their watches in house and a lot of the work is done by hand.

Then there's a second tier of the more mainstream luxury brands including Rolex, Omega, Breitling, etc. This tier is more machine produced but using the best materials and latest technology. Since these are mass produced, more people have heard of them.
