my sister is 6 years old. and just finished her last year of tee-ball. she is already working on pitching. do you think it's too early for me to try to teach her how to slap hit? i think she would catch on, that part wouldn't be hard, but do you think she will get burned out. or get bored playing in machine next year. i really want her to do good when she gets older.

she is 6, but she is already working on windmil pitching and does a really good job. she can throw harder than half of the boys on her tee-ball team, and she can defiataly hit harder than half of them. she does really well at hitting with out a tee, and we go to the batting cages sometimes, and she does great. i also taught her to bunt and she does that good too.

she catches on to things really fast and is super athletic.

I think she's just fine to learn how to slap hit. The earlier you teach her the longer she'll have to master it. Just take it slow and go easy on her. If she tells you she doesn't like it, or doesn't want to learn it right now then just tell her okay and help her on fielding and stuff. Hope this helps. :-)

The pitching instruction should be non-pressure and non-competitive at this age. Remember most of these girls will not develop into pitchers but the ones that do will have an advantage of having solid fundamentals taught to them from the beginning.

Baseball is great, teach her all you can, but you should also teach her how to earn a living. You should both learn to be successful with the stock market for example. You get the account and she watches it with you. After a while she'll have her own portfolio with your help. Selling on eBay is another example, no reason why she can't do that with your guidance..

1. Does his wife know about their relationship? Some married couples have open relationships, so you never know. 2. Is she secretly hoping that he will leave his wife for her? If so, she is setting herself up for a rough road. 3. Is there any reason to think the wife might retaliate? As they say, Hell hath no fury like the wrath of a woman scorned. 4. Why would she want to date such an old guy, especially with so many strings attached? Is he paying for her apartment? If so, she might as well get what she can out of the cheating jerk and leave him. Serves him right.

Don't teach her to slap yet. I was the same way wait until she's about nine or ten. She'll have more fun and she if she learns it all at once she won't have room to get better and she'll get kinda bored with it.

no i dont think your sister is to young because it looks like she learns really quickly so she could catch on really quickly and you shouldn't worry, try it and she what you reackon after a few weeks and see what you reckon, i think you see that there was nothing to worry about.

Your sister sounds very smart. You can teach her but maybe do it in steps

Go ahead and teach her. If she gets burned out, it's because of her, not you.
