Microsoft Keyboard Elite and Microsoft IntelliMouse both /w bluetooth. I have a notebook and a desktop, both able to use bluetooth devices. If there is any possible way to switch from laptop to desktop with both of the computers on at the same time, please let me know.

It is quite possible to connect them to both computers, however you can't use them on both at the same time (at least, not realistically) The Mouse must be connected to just one at any given time...

You could try a KVM switch (US$30 and more) and manage both computers with a single Keyboard, mouse and Monitor, but I know that it was not what you asked.

A KVM transfer will mostly allow you to boot even though you don't seem to be presently switched to that computing device. Another choice with out purchasing a complete KVM transfer is to get a type of USB to PS2 adapters that allow you to hook up a PS/two mouse and keyboard to a USB port. It will inform the BIOS that a USB mouse and keyboard are there even if they aren't. Then you'll use the networking recommendations indexed above for connecting the PCs and use Terminal Server to entry your different PC's computing device (mstsc.exe) from the brand new field, assuming each are utilizing XP Pro or Vista. Then you'll cover the historical field within the storage subsequent to the cat clutter, and hook up with it with a wifi card. :) --N.

Ricardo A is right. What you want is so easy to do with a KVM switch. I've been using one for about 4 months now.
