Yellowcard is 100% my favorite band. I never heard of them until one morning when i was watching MTV with my friend, and Ocean Avenue came on. Since then, I've been stuck. One reason I love them is they have a different sound than most rock bands. not too different, but they have a violin as a MAIN instrument, not as one thats only on some tracks. And I'd say that in just about every album of theirs, the lyrics arent straightforward. their lyrics make you think. like the All American Rejects song "Dirty Little Secret" vs. Yellowcards NEWEST single "Light Up The Sky"--

its intro vs intro...and honestly, which do you think has more meaning behind it? I say Yellowcards. And this is the biggest reason why i admire them.

My favorite rock band is Led Zeppelin. They're my favorite becuase they span such a wide variety of music. They do mostly rock, but they've got a few songs that sound like country, and a few that are more pop-ish, but they've always amazed me with the skills that they show. I've got all their albums, and one of the boxed sets. I listen to them almost everyday.

Korn! They give an awesome show that lasts for ever and they allways have an exellent line-up touring with them. Last year it was The Def Tones and Flyleaf and this year it's Evan Essance and Trivium. But the best thing about Korn's Family Values Tour is it is always under $20.00 bucks to get in!

Guns n Roses. Appetite for Destruction is by far one of the best albums ever recorded, I think that if they would not of broken up they could of went on to be one of the biggest rock bands in history.

Electric Light Orchestra or The Who

ELO is very poppy rock that is fun to just listen to and sing along to.
The Who is so timeless and really brought around the roots of hard rock. Plus, their stage presence is amazing.

any classic rock, but in the way of modern bands I would have to say Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects,Panic at the Disco,My Chemical Romance . I honestly can't tell you why except I like their music and the meanings of thier sons.

Green Day. They have been around about 17 years so they have a lot of experience. I like every single song by them. They are sooo talented and are just.... amazing. Best bassist, drummer, and guitarist everrrr. And singer. I can't stand bands that have a crappy singer and I think Billie Joe Armstrong's voice is AWESOME. They don't care what people think of them. A lot of people label them "goth" which I think is completely rediculous. GREEN DAY KICKS ***!!!

incubus: because all thier cds starting from make yourself all are amazing. thier past 4 cds sound nothing alike. the guitarest is an amazing song writer and a really impressive guitarest. he is not the fastest but he can write some melodic songs.

and just because, they sound good. bredan boyd actually sings and does not yell much like most the **** on the radio today.
