Generalities and distortions do nothing to prove any point you were trying to make. No one has voiced a desire to fire US doctors or to adopt the Cuban medical system. The point of the Cuban, and Canadian, and Great Britian, and France parts of the movie was to show that health care could be done affordably for all citizens.

I don't know what the solution is, but I am tolerably sure the Democrats aren't suggesting that.

However, whether you agree with national health care or not, I think we all agree that ours is a land of opportunity, one in which the playing field is made as level as is feasible.

If that is so, why oughtn't we have free health care for anyone under the age of 18? If we provide a free education through high school--so that all Americans might have the opportunity to better themselves and achieve the American Dream--shouldn't medical care be part of the level playing field? Irrespective of race, religion, creed, etc., we assume certain group responsibility for minors. How can those afflicted with sometimes major ailments expect a fair shake if they cannot afford their medical care?

Yes Duke - but they also point out that it is the health insurance companies - not the doctors - that cause that.
Pay attention please.
