I've tried liver cooked many different ways and it still makes me gag.
But nothing is as bad as Uni (sea urchin). I went out for sushi one night (and I love sushi) and my date said uni was his favorite, so I ordered it too. It tastes like low tide smells, only worse. disgusting.

Never had snails...I've had smelts, though...those little fishy things that always seem to be on the menu of an Italian Christmas Eve get-together. How the FDA never banned them in this country, I'll never know.

In Korea and they have some nasty food. I disagree Kimchi is not that bad (actually like it) but they have bungdaegi (silk worm larva) yes silk worm larva. They sell it on the street. The smell is as disgusting as the taste.

Wow! You've gotten so many answers already! Good question:) Well, I'd have to say my mother's Swedish meatballs. When I was little (like 5 yrs old) my father told me that, if I ate one, he'd give me a surprise. I ate that thing and it was so gross! Guess what the surprise was? A kiss! I was sooo mad! Never forgot it! Heehee
