In the morning I'll leave on vacation
To indulge in some beach recreation.
While doing above
I'll think of you with love,
And toast you with some good libation.
The tire swing is left there to use,
But don't you dare hate or abuse.
For when I return
They'll all watch you burn,
You'll not want to walk in those shoes.
If you must think much fondly of me
And those thougthts most humorous will be.
For when I get home
From my wild roam
We'll rock the Lonely Mountain, you see.
That's all I got.

I will use it as a favorite toy
if I fall in the lake and encounter a snake

If on vacation you "did go"
Not leaving us a verse or three,
We joyfully "do read", "you see."
(My poem above sux on purpose!
Yours is very good. BTW, "you see" is like "did go." Who else will critique your poetry and make you better? I really think you have the potential to be an "important" poet.)
