As long as you find someone who can legally perform the service, and you have a marriage license, you can get married any time, any day (or night) that you want!

Yes. Usually the way it works is: You get your marriage certificate at the courthouse (which is blank) and it's usually valid for 30 days. Who ever marries you (lawfully) like a minister or judge, signs the marriage certificate after the wedding offically took place, dating it the day of your legal marriage and that can be any day of the week.

Yes, but most people choose to get married on weekends so guests of the groom and bride can make any travel arrangements to attend. Not only weekends, but even on holidays like Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day weekend so more guests are able to attend.
In my opinion, I wouldn't want to get married on one of those weekends because that means for the rest of your life (or just marriage in some cases) your anniversary will always fall on that weekend. I rather save that weekend for family vacations or other events. Makes the anniversary more special if its in a different time period.

Yes, the main reason people get married on the weekend is so that more people will be able to attend; especially those who have to travel.
