a couple of weeks ago i told a few of my friends that i kinda wanted to go out with one of my other friends. i didnt want him to no because i knew that he would break up with his gf in an instant because he's liked me for a long time. 3 days ago I met someone else who I like A LOT. i can tell that he likes me too. he asked me for my number and i asked for his. i dont like my best friend anymore and if i say no then he will most likely never talk to me again. what should i do????

Oh man,I don't know what to say really.
Just go with your gut instinct.
Your friend might not talk to you for a little while ,but then he'll get over it.
If he loves you like you said,he would not be able to he;lp himself and talk to you.
Just be careful next time,not to hurt him again.

Well, does he (first guy, best bud) know yet? If so, just tell him in a respectful, understanding way that it was all just a misunderstanding. If he's truely your friend, he will just accept it and hopefully move on. If he doesn't know, just make sure your friends know you don't like him anymore and that your heart belongs to another *dramatic sigh*

Just calm down. If he wont learn to move on, thats his problem and he would just be immature. If he really liked u THAT much he would enjoy being with you as a friend. Best of Luck!

You're not obligated to go out with the friend.... however, since you did tell someone you liked him.... you would sort of look bad if you turned down a date now....
