Last week I went into a Walmart looking for old fashioned wooden clothespins. I asked a young man who was walking up the aisle if he could help me. He had no clue and all he said was "no, i dont know where they are." Hmmm..maybe he didn't read the May I help you today on his blue apron that morning. Well, I really needed them because we were going camping so I looked around the store because God knows in a Walmart, they could be anywhere. Frustrated I saw the same guy again and said...do you think you could find someone that knows where the clothespins are? He's like..ok. He goes to a woman on 30 foot ladder putting boxes up on a shelf only the Green Giant could reach and she proceeds to point to the other end of the store. We follow her finger and no, not there either. He seeks help from another lost looking co-worker and guides to where they should be only to say...ooops we have no more. Sorry for the long winded story but between that day and the chants they sometimes do in unison early in the mornings are a bit much.

I spend a lot of time at our local Super Wal-Mart. This is what makes it unpleasant for me.....crowds and waiting at the stupid deli counter. The employees that work back there act as if they're doing you a favor by waiting on you. Poor customer service. I find just the opposite to be true at the photo lab. They always keep their machines properly calibrated so the quality of the prints is excellent. The employees that work in that dept. will bend over backwards to help you. Wait a minute...maybe I should be filling out one of those comment sheets in the store.

I like Wal Mart because I don't like giving my hard earned money to some shops where the exact merchandise is two to three times as much and the clerks are still just as snotty and rude. Actually the clerks here are pretty nice. But I hate that they keep the place sooo.. hot. I feel sorry for the people who have to work in that hot place all day.

I think their employees are rude, or at the least, unhelpful. They get paid minimum wage, they are almost never full time, get treated like crap, so they don't really give a damn. Plus I feel that they are killing off all of the other department/grocery stores. Other stores that have been in business for years have had to close their doors because they just can't compete with Wal-Mart's prices.

The store is very big and there are never enough registers open. Even going late at night you will most likely be standing in a line.
I agree with whoever said that you run into everyone you know!
And their shelves are never stocked (at least not in Prairiville!) and you can rarely find a helpful worker, or any for that matter.
And working for them sucks! I work at Sam's Club, technically still Wal-Mart.

The stuff made at Wal-Mart are made by child labor, and they are known to hire immigrants and pay them less than minimum wage, but is under the counter so those people don't pay taxes.Almost every one gets paid minimum wage or less. Thats why they can afford to price things so low.

It's the same unpleasantness each and every time. I spend more time standing in line at the register than I do shopping.
I got there as infrequently as possible, but I remain a Wal-Martian.

If you hate Walmart don't shop there. I have worked at walmart for five and a half years and my Walmart has very good costumer service, however there are many with poor costumer service just like many other retail shops. The lines at my Walmart are rarely long due to good staffing. And let me tell you rude costumers are just as bad if not even worse than rude associates!

seeing all the cheap Chinese knock-offs. It's killing the quality in toys.
Seeing the vendors stuff thrown about and messed up, knowing the vendor has to pay Wal-mart back for it when Wal-mart doesn't sell it and throws it away.

Those dolls at Walmart are actually dried up children from a third world country that expired when making the Walmart clothing in a sweat shop.
