Depends on what exactly you do. If your do house calls, they usually charge around $30.00 an hour, however theres not to many places you work to just go to peoples houses and fix computers. Company's will hire you to watch over their servers and make sure the networks working and so on, usually make $40,000 a year right out of college. Granted this changed on where you work or what company you work for.

If your talented enough yes. Though sometimes it isn't the computer programers who get paid the most but the ones who fix and make PC upgrades to your computer.
