Canker sores are mouth ulcers which are open and acidic or spicy foods can cause them to be more painful.

They say that whatever canker sores you have in your mouth you also have in your stomach.....so, I would say your stomach! It starts out with acid sores in your tummy and breaks out in your mouth. They are acid sores.
